All-wheel drive is standard across all trims for the 2023 Ford Bronco Sport. Its standard engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder that produces 181 horsepower and an available turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder that makes 245 horsepower. Both are paired to an 8-speed automatic and the latter engine offers steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and new cooling components. The first engine gets 25/28 mpg and the second gets 21/26 mpg. Towing is rated up to 2,200 pounds. Until we hear more about what the Heritage Limited Edition trim will offer, let’s take a moment to recognize what the Badlands trim has to offer. The Badlands adds a twin-clutch rear drive unit with a differential lock, all-terrain tires, larger shock absorbers and more.

The 2023 Bronco Sport offers an impressive amount of cabin space, legroom and headroom thanks to its sloping roofline to accommodate passengers. A slide-out table for more workspace, 400-watt power inverter and LED lights on the rear liftgate are some other niceties we know of.
