For 2027, the Super Duty rolls out new features packages and slims the engine options down to two. Lucky for us, the remaining engines happen to be the most powerful ones, the 430-horsepower gas V8 and the 500-horsepower high-output diesel V8. The new XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package outfits the base Super Duty with everything you need to do business away from the pavement. And the limited-edition Proud to Honor appearance package attracts notice with patriotic exterior graphics, bold black wheels, and sleek black trim.
The 2027 Super Duty is available with two engines, the gas-powered 7.3-liter V8 (430 horsepower, 485 pound-feet of torque) and the turbocharged diesel 6.7-liter V8 (500 hp, 1,200 lb-ft). If you’re looking to haul max loads, the standard gas V8 can help you get the job done. To put more of an emphasis on towing, upgraded to the diesel V8!
Last year’s 6.8-liter gas V8 and a less powerful version of the 6.7-liter diesel V8 are no longer available.
Just like its predecessors, the 2027 Super Duty moves best-in-class figures, towing max loads of 40,000 pounds and hauling max payloads of 7,900 pounds. But keep in mind that max capabilities vary from truck to truck, depending on chassis, body configuration, powertrain, and equipment.
For 2027, the Ford Super Duty starts at $46,125*. In the end, though, the price of any particular truck is going to vary depending on factors like the F-Series model (F-250, F-350, or F-450), trim level, and options. Not to mention local fees — including tax, title, and dealer fees.
